I tried to reinstall 2.0 and neither would work until I reinstalled 3.0. Now thw poc will not work with my extensions I normally use.

I hate the new version's way of showing websites on dropdown list at the address bar... anyway to make this go back to the way it used to be? (I do not want to have my list filled up with individual threads from the huddle.)

I think that is a "feature", in MS speak, so I don't think it is editable. I never used that function before, I used the history bar. Splain to me how it looked before.

+1. this really annoys me. i did a quick search through preferences and didn't find anything. maybe someone has made an extension or something to make it how it used to be?

Type ‘about:config' in the address bar.

Search for the entry ‘Browser.urlbar.maxRichResults’

Double click and change the value from 12 to 0.

That will disable what they call “awesome bar”.

Then if you want it to behave more like the old address bar, you can go get this extension.

EDIT: I should mention that you have to restart firefox for that config change to take effect.
