Bengal Mania
A bittersweet ending to a dissappointing run in Cincinnati. When he came here, there were pools started as to the date he would break Hang Aaron's home run record. He was still the best player in the entire game at that point, and he had just come home. This town was nuts, and rightly so. His first season, although shortened slightly by an injury, was still good enough (40HRS) to keep everyone anticipating great times. But iyearly njuries and age took their toll, and he's never been more average at best since. It's good for the Reds to move on (probably a few yesrs to late?). Don't see how he helps the Sox at all, but they really gave nothing back, either.
godtomsatan
Here's to a ring run, so he'll have no qualms about signing with the M's next year.
