ReturnToSender
Course last night makes me cringe, but in my draft, I passed on Plex, for S. Holmes, thinking his upside may be bigger. I know it's early, but at the draft I was sitting thinking of the paid and rolaids I would go through all year with Plex as my #2 wr, and his ankle. In everyone's opinion, who has the better upside? The younger, hungry player, or the proven vet?
MrTed46
Wow, let's see how Pit does before jumping to conclusions. Plax had one monster game..
Balzac
Plax had a monster game but I think the absence of Shockey was much more evident last night than it was towards the end of last season. Plax was the only guy Manning was targeting consistently . . . and I'm not sure I see that changing anytime soon. Plax might be much better in PPR leagues this year than he has been in the past. Grits and Shins
As you've already had your draft what does it matter?

Plax had one monster game.. +1, though we might have different definitions of "monster game". 113 and no TDs is certainly a very nice game to be sure but... I went Holmes over Burress in both leagues where I had the choice.
Big Ernie McCracken
I would certainly have considered drafting Holmes over Plaxico, but had no choice and ended up with Plax. I think over the course of the season, Burress will likely see more targets than Holmes. Holmes will probably bust of a few more big plays. I think either way you ended up with a solid receiver. So, in addition to being the Huddle's resident cut and paste boy, we can now add stroking other guys to Big Ernie's resume?

Balzac
You keep pulling this same post as ammo, seriously, what's wrong with liking wine/drinking/knowall about it? It's more expensive than Natty Light and he's jealous? Ragging on people for liking/being into wine is quite odd, if you ask me. It's not like he started a thread about drinking Cosmos or Lemon Drops . . .
