The Hurtings
League Commissioners.... How do you plan to handle this NFL Schedule Change? http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3585348 The Baltimore Raven vs. Houston Texans game has been moved to November 9th. Week 2 appears to be their bye week. The Texans were scheduled to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov. 9th and Baltimore was on bye. The Houston Texans are now scheduled to play Cincinnati Bengals on October 26th when both teams were on bye. As commissioner in two leagues, I believe we simply need to shuffle the bye weeks but it is late in the week and getting the word out to all owners may be tough. How do you plan to handle this? popmagnet
I saw no option but to treat them as bye weeks. Essentially, that's what they've become. I've emailed my entire league and texted as well. We aren't a money league so we don't get as angry as others might. Anyone unaware that Ike could affect this week's schedule is probably unaware he hasn't set his lineup either.
Big John
Need to treat them as bye weeks. But you could do a little accommodation for teams that had BAL or HOU kicker or defense as their only ones in the slot, such as allowing a free 1-week replacement. With the only reason for this being very quick notice and those teams planned for a different bye week.

I pity the dude who has the Texan or ravens kicker anyway, and have no sympathy !!I , As Commissioner, I sent e-mail to each guy and posted a notice right on the front webpage of our site.....beyond that, I ain't cuttin' any slack....part of team management is keeping up on these things !!! Living in a cave is NO EXCUSE !!!!!!!!
