chiefs
Stunning career- one of best in any sport in any era. Good decision to retire - though I'm slightly surprised - as there is not a more competetive person in the world. His legend will grow as time passes. Azazello1313
everyone around hockey always talks about how goaltending is the most important position in sports. but in the big picture, the goalies don't seem to get much credit. nobody wants to mention roy's name with gretzky, howe, orr, lemiuex. but they SHOULD. Chavez
chiefsStunning career- one of best in any sport in any era. Good decision to retire - though I'm slightly surprised - as there is not a more competetive person in the world. Apparently, he has arthritic hips (imagine being a butterfly goalie with achy hips - yowch!), and didn't want to play in pain and with obviously declining skills, so he made a move that too many athletes don't - he walked away near the top of his game. Not really a Roy fan, but I'd say his greatness is pretty well indisputable.
