godtomsatan
Wow, I thought that was a big name in hockey. Already gone after only 16 games... http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=3703077 He spent 12 years at ESPN before taking over the Lightning. That's why he's a big name. It was certainly a heralded return, but he had been off the sideline for a long time, and hockey people never have any patience for the head man unless his name is Scotty Bowman. isleseeya
way too quick and shortsighted by tampa bay to do this i guess Barnaby has his espn job now so not sure where Barry will end up
jaxfactor
I have read reports that Barry could not get the team to respond. They were more or less free lance players. Rick Tocchet will now be the interim coach, that is until he bets on a Lightning game.
Zooty
Terrible hire in the 1st place. He coached a Gretzky team to a Cup finals and spent 12 years as an analyst. I never though he was very good at either thing. But at least he lasted longer than Savard this season.
