sunysteelfly76
Christmas Tree. I'm not sure how it happened, but I think it was "Mr. I don't know". I was splitting wood for a fire and when I came in the tree was horizontal and the kids had relocated from downstairs where the tree is to upstairs. I asked the boys what happened and got a couple of guilty looks and I don't knows. Decorating a tree is fun so doing it twice is twice as fun, right? skylive5
When you asked them, their answer was "what tree?" right? LOL I'm pretty sure that trees do that themselves. You get a tree that isn't in the holiday spirit and bang...on the ground. Have fun redecorating... been there, done that, no t-shirt. pig devilz
you're supposed to fill the base with water.....not gin.
cliaz
I can remember the second X-mas with the twins [they were little over a year old at that time] and we have to put a gate up around the tree. The wife and I are in the kitchen finishing up baking. I pull the last try of cookies out and we both go into the living room and see our tree laying on the ground with two sets of arms and legs sticking out. We never heard them scale the gate and pull it down. It was a comical site since they were not hurt.

myhousekey
My brother in law was home alone last week and apparently the tree fell over in the middle of the night. Still no verdict on how it happened but the leading candidate seems to be that he didn't tighten the tree in the base enough. That will teach him not to buy a live tree. JoJoTheWebToedBoy
If a Christmas tree falls in the Living Room and no one is there, does it make a sound?
Big John
If a Christmas tree falls in the Living Room and no one is there, does it make a sound? yes. The fact that nobody is there to hear the sound is irrelevant to the fact that the sound is made.
