muck
My wife and I have been invited to a Bat Mitzvah. I went to one when I was like 13 for a friend and my wife has never been to one. While I could ask the guy who invited me, I would rather not come across as clueless on these sorts of things so...I have a few questions: 1) Presumably, this is a 'no kids allowed' event. Is that probably right? If so, how should we deal with our infant son? 2) What is an appropriate gift size / type for the girl? Do we give anything else to the family? 3) How long is something like this? 30 minutes? 4hrs? 4) Anything else I should probably be aware of? Also, I think there was a kosher beer a while back called He-Brew.

He-Brew is the name of a brewery and they make great stuff! My favorite is Jewbalation 11.
