Brentastic
Any doctors or veteran parents know what is the cause. Should I be overly concerned or is this common? He does have a cold right now but the eye thing just started today. THanks huddlers.

Brentastic
I'm no doc , but sounds like pink eye. Nothing to be overly concerned about then - or is it more serious in children?

Swashbucklers
My guess would also be conjunctivitis. If that's what it is, have fun getting the drops in his eyes!! My son had ihis first bout with it at about 14-15 months and gettng those drops in was the worst. Screaming and crying, and you having to hold him down and just let him be in agony. Double Agent
My guess would also be conjunctivitis. If that's what it is, have fun getting the drops in his eyes!! My son had ihis first bout with it at about 14-15 months and gettng those drops in was the worst. Screaming and crying, and you having to hold him down and just let him be in agony. Something that worked for us was holding his head still (with him laying on his back) and putting the drops in the corner of each eye. They'll open their eyes a little at some point and it will go in. Trying to open the eyelids was next to impossible without hurting him. We've been down this road with eye infections several times. Very common and it's not fun.
