Savage Beatings
Did anyone else catch the interview on ESPN radio with Max Unger the rookie Center from Oregon? If he has any kind of professional talent at all, he is going to make some team very happy. This kid was smart, funny, articulate, and had a very honest outlook about himself and his potantial. They said that some teams are possibly looking at him as a Guard or even Tackle. He has played all along the line, but is most comfortable inside. I doubt the Vikings would be able to get him, but he would sure make a great addition after we lost Birk.

I read that all 3 of the top C prospects - Mack, Unger, and Alex Fletcher (?) were all top-notch character guys.
kpholmes
If his Pac-10 brotha Mack is off the board in the second, Unger would be my second choice for the Raiders. This kid is an athlete and will be able to play Center or Guard at a very high level.
Randall
With a shortage of guards this year some centers may be converted.

Right now I have him ranked as the 40th best player in this draft and that is only because of position. He will go early second which speaks volumes for him playing middle line. He won’t make it past 38 or 42. Mark it down, he will be a Bengal or a Bill.

So much for my Bengals grabbing one in the 2nd round.
