Speaking for myself, when looking at a group of women, all of whom I wouldn't stand a snow balls shot in hell with, I'm not drawn to someone who's just a hotter version of women I see everyday. I'm drawn to something unique.

 

In other words, I am far more likely to see a woman who looks somewhat like Underwood than Beckinsale walk into my restaurant or cross the street in front of me while I'm stopped at a light, so by comparison, she doesn't do as much for me.

Good info here. Beckinsale and Heigl both have that unique look, IMO.
