muck
Ok. Here's the deal. A friend of mine owns an excavating business. He's looking for a used car like the one I drive for his wife. Since our 4th kid came, my whole family can't fit in my car. Plus, my wife has a minivan w/ 160,000 miles. Plus, my mom's little Saturn coupe is becoming more difficult for her to get in/out of, she would love a car she could get all her grandkids in, but a new vehicle isn't in their budget now. So, here's the idea... 1) Trade my car to my friend for a used company pickup and some cash (which we'd probably use on a Suburban or Expedition)... or a used pickup plus his used Suburban (but no cash) ... I'd end up driving the pickup. 2) Tade our minivan for my mom's current car (KBB says they're about the same; their car may be worth a bit more than ours). We sell mom's old car. Or, if they don't want to do that, then just sell the wife's car on autotrader. ...so, before we get too far down the road with this, are their any trucks I should avoid or particularly want? FWIW, I believe my friends' pickup truck options that I'd be ablr to pick from are F150s, F250s and F350s; I don't think he has any Chevy, GMC, Dodge, Toyota or Nissan (or any other, for that matter)...but, I don't know much about any pickup at all (except that having one would be nice for hauling stuff around). muck
I need to be able to haul mulch for my wife's flower beds. I'm sick of deer eating our plants and moles tunnelling in our yard. ...etc... So, yes, the end of the world is upon us.

They have a place in the grand scheme of things too ya know. Trading anything with a friend is always an iffy business. Most of the time it becomes ex-friends.
