Outshined
I know St. Louis is a great baseball town and such great history (100 years??), we decided to fly down today and catch the Twins / Cards game on Sunday. I am not the trip planner, but we will be staying in a hotel across from the ballpark. Any St Louiey Homers know of any good bars within walking distance? And I hope there is a reason they call it Bush stadium. Go Twins!!!

twiley
Just caught this, there are a ton of bars just south of the stadium within walking distance or a little walk over to the landing. Hopefully you hit Paddy O's. Edited June 28, 2009 by twiley
Outshined
By this I'm assuming your not taking the wife/girlfriend? One can still look...especially on a 90 degree day. Just caught this, there are a ton of bars just south of the stadium within walking distance or a little walk over to the landing. Hopefully you hit Paddy O's. We got there Sat afternoon and took the train to the ballpark. We stayed at the Westin (across the st from the ballpark) and hit JBucks and went back to the hotel. It was like a sauna down there. That was my 1st trip to Busch Stadium. I have to say that was the best ball park I have been to. We went to PI Pizza Sunday night by Washington U....Best Pizza ever. We didn't have to rent a car or anything, we just took the metro link. If the Twins play there again, I will definitely be back because we didn't have time for the brewery tour or see the arch.
