maskedmike Posted August 15, 2009 Share Posted August 15, 2009 I'm in a 12 team 2 qb league. Its a PPR league and you get 6 pts for a passing touchdown. I pick #8 in the first round and I have Fitzgerald and Brees. Am I crazy to just keep Brees on my team or should I not declare a keeper and try to get L.T., Gore or Steven Jackson? ts Posted August 15, 2009 Share Posted August 15, 2009 In a PPR league I'd be surprised if Fitz was still there at 1.8 should you let him get away, so if you drop him, say goodbye ... likewise, in PPR the chances that SJax is around at 1.8 seem pretty slim, ditto for LT ... unless most other teams are not keeping enough QBs (and in a 2 QB league, is that realistic?) that the stud RBs will sit around until that late while the Joe Flacco's are drafted early? I couldn't imagine a 12 team league that starts 2. That means that the top 24 QB's will be started. You have no choice but to keep Brees. It's not likely that it is a reall odd setup that would push Brees out of the reccomendation to be the keeper, but I have seen some odd things in my time here.
