Alexfrog
This was my first year doing a fantasy football draft. One important note in my league scoring: QB yards are awared twice as many points per yard as in normal leagues, so QB yardage is more important than normal. This is a 12 team league. 1 RB, 2WR, 1RB/WR My team: Starters: QB Drew Brees, NO RB Ryan Grant, GB RB/WR Ray Rice, Bal WR Reggie Wayne, Ind WR Wes Welker, NE TE Dallas Clark, Ind D/ST Vikings D/ST, Min K Rob Bironas, Ten Bench: QB Matt Hasselbeck, Sea RB LeSean McCoy, Phi WR Anthony Gonzalez, Ind WR Donnie Avery, StL WR Nate Washington, Ten TE Visanthe Shiancoe, Min D/ST Chargers D/ST, SD By Round (I was in the middle of the round): 1: Drew Brees QB 2: Reggie Wayne WR 3: Ryan Grant RB 4: Wes Walker WR 5: Ray Rice RB 6: Dallas Clark TE 7: Anothony Gonzales WR 8: Vikings D/ST 9: LeSean McCoy RB 10: Matt Hasselbeck QB 11: Donnie Avery WR 12: Rob Bironas K 13: Nate Washington WR 14: Chargers D/ST 15: Visanthe Shiancoe TE How did I do? I feel good about getting Drew Brees in this scoring system, especially as the next two picks after that were Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. I see that Wes Walker is only probable for this week, should I start him anyway, or sub in Anthony Gonzalez? Thanks! tonorator
rice and clark in the 5th and 6th probably will save your team. not sure how they were both there in a 12 team league ... if you don't have a definitive word on welker before sunday (and you probably won't given it's the pats), i think you have to go with gonzalez, since welker doesn't play until monday night. i would not risk the possibility of him sitting and you getting a zero for that spot. good luck. Alexfrog
Yes I was very happy with Rice, thanks! Also hoping that Brees will be worth my first pick in a league with 1pt per 10 passing yards.
Chief Dick
You might win the league with that lineup. Seriously. Good job for a 12 teamer, especially for your first time.
Alexfrog
Won my first game with the 2nd highest score in the league (Drew Brees helped a lot, as did Reggie Wayne). And ESPN prjections for this week predct me to score the highest. Also picked up Lee Evans and Fred Jackson off waivers.
