smithkt Posted September 19, 2009 Share Posted September 19, 2009 It's a good entry level digital SLR. Similar kit on bhphotovideo.com goes for $850, but they don't sell it anymore. There is a newer model, D5000, which goes for a little over 1K. I'd say you have a nice camera at a good price. There will be a learning curve if you want to get the most out of it.
