Union Jack
Heard this morning on ESPN radio the Pats' Left Tackle went down and the LT position is HUGE in pass protection. Brady Owners - is this a big deal or will Brady find a way to put up some solid numbers and break out of this slump ?? ANy words O Wisdom will be appreciated... thank you.... Henry Muto
Of course it is a big deal but not much we can do about it...why worry about something we can't control. I predict Brady to throw at least 6 TD's combined in the next 2 weeks. Mark it down!

dbforbes
I'll mark it down as well, and do hope that it comes to pass. However, I'd like to know the rationale, if any, by which you arrive at such a bold prediction. Please elaborate.

Probably not a stretch that Brady lights them up. Edited October 14, 2009 by myhousekey
Grogansghost
I didn't get to see the end of the game -- but for the few plays I did see Light's replacement rookie Sebastian Vollmer looked pretty good. They drafted Vollmer in the second round and he played at Houston -- so he's used to providing pass-protection. They also view him as being physical enough to be good on running plays. I know we're talking about pro-bowl talent with Light - but I actually don't think there's going to be much off a drop, if any. Denver has the second most sacks right now after Minnesota --- so the fact that Vollmer wasn't exposed yesterday means I'm not too worried about it. cdrudge
Brady definitely has two easier weeks coming up. But after that you have a bye week plus unfavorable matchups against the Colts, Jets, NO, and Bills that might exploit someone new at LT. There isn't a favorable matchup until week 16 against Jacksonville. So far Brady's been above average, but a lot less then what people really want, the Brady of 2 years ago. For me it would come down to what it's going to cost to get him. I wouldn't worry too much about the LT position. Unfortunately for you though, the current owner may be demanding a premium just on name recognition which will cost you more then what I think he's currently worth. Looking at your existing QBs, I think Hasselbeck will have a better season then Brady with the remaining games, and I think Palmer will have about the same or maybe a little less.
