kamikaze_sensei
So, having both Hasselbeck and Bree's, I took a good look at the matchups, and decided to go with Hasselbeck, since he's facing a weak pass defense in the Cardinals, and since Bree's is facing an extremely tough opponent in the Giants. Then I see Bree's stats. I want to just kill myself....

In a similar fashion, I benched Colston expecting more resistance from the G-men... well, that... and the The Huddle predictions had him with only 50 yds rec. and S3 as a start/bench... uuugghh. cliaz
::sigh:: ASYS Why hate Brees because you benched him? I would never Bench him going against the Giants - doesn't matter. I wasn't upset when he didn't throw any TDs and less than 200 yards prior to his bye week. Having a player of Brees' caliber means never having to worry about who to start in that one position. BeeR
Anyone stupid enough to bench Brees earns every bit of anguish they got. I hate him because I aimed for him twice in drafts the past 2 yrs and fell just short both times, and both years he did or is tearing it up. kamikaze_sensei
It's not like you can blame me. Hasselbeck teared it up when he returned from his injury, and the 2 previous games, Bree's had under 200 yards. I know he's Brees, but come on... raoul duke
As a Brees owner, I prevent myself from having to make these kind of decisions by not rostering a second QB.

Hass had ONE good game while Brees has now had 3. Shame on you for benching Brees. You deserve the ridicule. Sorry pal, but you have it coming... It was a start though. With Kenny Phillips out I did start him. Who did you bench him for?
nhmtns
I couldn't decide between Roethlisberger and Brees for several days, but finally went with Brees. Both scored well, but obviously Brees was better.
