friedrice
With the directions the Titans are going - one has to think they will hand the team back to VY. If that happens - how will that impact Chris Johnson? Its not like Kerry Collins is airing it out all the time but i would assume this would bump down Chris Johnsons value. Puddy
Unfortunately, Chris Johnson has been very mediocre sans one fantastic week. I think it's been due to being underutilized. He is easily their best player and they need to get the ball in his hands. As far as VY goes....why not play him and see if there is any reason to keep him. Skrappy1
Eh, I'm not too sure a switch to VY can really hurt Johnson too much at this point. Johnson has been getting under-utilized mostly because: a) the Titans D has sucked so badly that they are falling so far behind and abandon the run; and b ) because when the offense has the ball, they have been turning it over way too much. A QB switch from Collins to VY definitely won't help the first problem, and probably won't help the second problem either, so I'm guessing CJ's value would remain about the same. Another thought is, outside of week 2, Collins really hasn't been dumping the ball off to Johnson much at all, so his impact in the passing game has been minimal. Johnson owners can at least hope that if the Titans switch to VY, maybe they work more dump-offs and screen passes into the game plan for him, and thus CJ might actually get a slight uptick in value. Aren't there any screen plays ever called? I hate the Titans. As do all CJ owners I'm sure. Too bad he's not on a better team. He's not even doing that bad. But no TD's outside week 2.
