FantasyFB
If it was the regular season, you don't sit him. If it's in the playoffs with money on the line..you sit him and gaurentee the win.
Big Country
Perfectly legitimate strategy, however, realize that it is possible that there can be a stat correction later this week that would cost you where the extra cushion could come in. I guess you just have to weight the odds of a stat correction or a negative day from your player costing you vs. the likelihood of said player having a positive performance. Henry Muto
This is why I think at worst any player you play should get 0 pts. Say you have a RB that runs for -10 yards on the day you should get a 0 not -1. Then we would never have this problem.

Say you have a RB that runs for -10 yards on the day you should get a 0 not -1. Then we would never have this problem. If your scoring system has anything that is a negative, then it should be possible to go to a negative score on a player, i.e. interceptions or fumbles lost. Those things should not only count against a player if they have some kind of positive to negate them. Defeats the purpose of a true performance based system where those categories are included. As far as yardage, if the scoring system is set up such that yardage below 0 is scored, then negative points should be possible. Most leagues have their yardage scoring set to begin at 0, and in those cases, then I would argue that it is implied that negative yardage can not cause a negative score, however, if the scoring system is set such that the range includes negatives, then it definitely should count as a negative. And while you see this as a problem, I see this a strategic decision that his owner is facing, no different than any other lineup or roster decision. MJDfan
who is the player? Because like he said a stat correction could hurt you tommorow and maybe you end up loosing. But if your player is Eli Manning or Kevin boss or fred davis or someone like that, they should not get negative points unless he has like 50 yards passing and 3 picks. onbrake
S Smith is the guy I'm thinking about sitting he should not get negative points but a fumble is -2 points an interception is -2 points and yardage can be negative.I think I should start him I had a game this year were I won by 1 later it was a tie later in the week a lose.My luck first play of the game Smith fumbles out for the game.
