electricrelish
First, the Jets fan in San Diego gets carried off by the Po-Po. Now another Jets fan is taken away by the cops in Indy. What the heck did this guy do? The dad said Patrick, cuffed in the back of a cop car after the Tasering, urged his dad and brother to go to the game and pick him up later. The lawyer dad did as his client son wished. “His last words to me were, ‘Go, Jets!’ ” the dad said after the 30-17 Gang Green loss. Doesn't look like he was tasered. What the heck did this guy do? He did through full beer bottles (as were about 150 other drunk Jet's fans), he did push police, he did scream obscenities at the police, he was very drunk and refused to take the most simple police instructions. He got exactly what he deserved. ( I think this would of been enough )

CaptainHook
There were a lot of drunken boorish Jets fans on the way into the game. I think I actually caught the tail end of this, as we walked in. Saw a cuffed Jets fan against a police car. It's funny, they said he was tasered, when he wasn't. I don't believe too much of what they say after that. Acting like a drunken idiot get you arrested.

People do dumb shizzit and get arrested every week at NFL games. FWI: Remember that Jets fans weren't even allowed to drink at their last game at Giants Stadium. No alcohol was sold during that game. Maybe this happens a lot in NY. Edited January 26, 2010 by fitzkek
Chargerz
There were a lot of drunken boorish Jets fans on the way into the game. I think I actually caught the tail end of this, as we walked in. Saw a cuffed Jets fan against a police car. The drinking and subsequent obnoxious behavior by fans has gotten so bad at Charger games that I'm seriously considering giving up my season tickets next season. Some fans are so busy seeing how drunk they can get during a game that they don't even watch the game. The fighting in the stands and crowd control incidents are a distraction for those of us who actually want to watch the football on the field. bpwallace49
When I was at the NFC Championship game at Lambeau versus the Giants, the Giants fans were largely very well behaved. Except the douchebags wearing Shockey spamshirts of course
jetsfan
I would say it is the "exception to the rule" to find well-behaved fans of a visiting team at any stadium. I've been to games in multiple cities, never traveling for a Jets game but just visiting friends or relatives and catching a game, and usually the biggest drunken d-bags are the ones with the opposing spamshirts on. Just sayin'

cdrudge
Wait a sec. Jets fans get upset when Indy is nice to them, now they are getting upset because we're mean to them? Indy's PR image just can't catch a break.

fitzkek
that don't work at a Raiders game just saying I went to Oakland this year for the Eagles game. Thanks for the effort by the way Eagles. I wore my Eagles garb, and the fans there were pretty respectful. I even took some pictures with the guys that think it's Halloween and stuff. They said, like Philly fans, they get a bad rap. That is unless you're wearing Blue and Orange!
Cunning Runt
that story has to be made up ? if it is true ,,, I tip my hat to all Colt fans and citizens living in the area Well, as I noted in another post, I found the Jets' fans we were surrounded by at the game to be very cool - even when the Jets were up in the 1st half, we were joking around and in general having a great time as football fans who happened to be for opposing teams. I'm not into that whole - "you're not for my team so you suck" mentality. I give 'em props for making what was surely a very expesnive trip and supporting their team. I can totally believe that article. We truly do have a much more laid back way in the midwest than do those on the east coast. I've traveled to Philly and New York plenty and the one thing that really has stood out to me has always been how in-your-face the people are compared to here. Nothing wrong with that - just different. We just don't have that critical mass of people we have to fight our way through on a daily basis so it's not ingrained into us. Folks need to bring it!

We had one incident in the parking lot before the game but inside not to many problems except for a couple of Raider fans threw a beer at a guy sitting 3 rows in front of me. Funny thing is he was wearing a 49ers jersey
