detlef
4.5 million people have viewed that and 6700 have collectively given it a 5-star rating. I found both of those stats to be fascinating.
Bring Back Pat!!!
Dave Matthews Band, Live at Folsom Field Folsom Field is awesome. But so is Red Rocks. And Central Park. And Fenway. This list could be all DMB concerts

SheikYerbuti
Simon and Garfunkel's Central Park album is a masterpiece. Rush's Exit Stage Left was a cornerstone of my musical education. The Vienna Philharmonic's live Maher 9 with Karajan is insanely good.

Steve Marriott is still one of my favorite rock vocalist of all time.
Chavez
"Live" albums are kinda overrated - in many/most cases, it's looser versions of songs that have already been done well in the studio.* I think these days it's better to go for a "concert film," of which there are many. Then you get the visual component to compensate for the other stuff. * - jazz** excepted; I think Az is on to something here ** - and maybe the Allmans and the Dead, and/or other bands that are willing to depart from the expected

Kid Cid
I always thought Rush All The World's a Stage was better than Exit Stage Left but in a way that is nit picky. For the Grateful Dead I'd say it is one of the Dick's Picks releases, but there are several that are just incredible, I can't say just one. Yessongs should have been mentioned. Jethro Tull Bursting Out is as good as anything mentioned so far. Zappa Live at the Filmore East should be on this list just because of the Mud Shark. Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison is most certainly in any top ten.
peteteacher2001
Most of these are in the jamband genre but I figured I would throw them out there as they are all stellar listens and have also been staples in my music collection for a LONG time: Phish: A Live One Gov't Mule: Live with a little help from our friends Allman Brothers Band: Fillmore East and Peakin' At the Beacon Grateful Dead: Dicks Picks Volume 3 5/22/77 (during the fabled Cornell run) My Morning Jacket: Okonokos (if you haven't heard these guys yet, do yourself a favor) Eric Clapton: Unplugged North Mississippi Allstars: Bonnaroo 2004 Hill Country Revue Ozzy Osbourne: Randy Rhoads Tribute Pink Floyd: Pulse The Rolling Stones: Stripped String Cheese Incident: Carnival 99 Leftover Salmon: Ask the Fish Thin Lizzy: Live and Dangerous U2: Rattle and Hum Chris and Rich Robinson: Brothers of a Feather Live at the Roxy Derek and the Dominoes: Live at the Fillmore West Okay you get the point! I just realized how big of a live music buff I am. Maybe it's because I am a performing musician? Dunno.
