forever in debt to mo lewis
former coworker who is from chi just moved back out there....told me today that rumor is pretty hot in chi right now....didnt say which one of our 2nd rounders....but that the bears would try to use it to pry boldin from az id love this.....id be more than willing to benefit from this....but i cant help but think what bad business this would be for the bears....i dont like owners meddling in personnel/football decisions....but id think this might be a case where that is needed..... i know theres the belief that the coach and front office are desperate to save their jobs...the wr market is pretty dry for guys who would fit what martz likes to do....i cant help but wonder if some of the guys already on the bears roster at wr will work/look better in the martz syste....guys like knox, hester, and aromashodu.....obviously boldin would be ideal for the scheme....and heck...if you add boldin and the defense can stay healthy...that could be one heck of a team.....but i just dunno about shipping off young, elite, talent like olsen that also comes fairly cheap....doesnt seem like good business....what if it blows up and lovie and martz are no longer with the bears in 2011??? Wolverines Fan
Here in Chicagoland, I've been listening to the local sports talk shows, and we've been hearing rumors the Bears are trying like crazy to trade Olsen. A trade to NE is the one I've heard the most. Edit: If the Bears get a second rounder, I think I'd rather see them grab an O-lineman in the draft. Just my two cents. Shorttynaz
The Bears can really use a top tier WR and the Cardinals should have gotten more for Boldin. Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda - but wouldn't it have made sense for BOTH teams if they would have done something like Greg Olsen for Anquan Boldin straight up???
