Ursa Majoris
There's no way this will be for personal use & if it was...we wouldn't be able to afford it. Don't bet on it. Ten years ago you were dialing up an Internet connection. Five years ago a T1 (1.5 megabits) was the last word in speed. Along came broadband and speeds like 2 Mbits. Now I have 12 - 15 Mbps as standard and 100 Mbps is not unusual. Gigabit, 10 gigabit fiber and beyond are real and deployed in all sorts of companies. The point of these routers isn't as user endpoints, it's as core devices. Large carriers will deploy them at their chokepoints to ease flow which will have a beneficial effect right the way down the line.
