DMD
dont think they really have" WOODS" in Texas. Dude - We have - lots of trees Texas has ocean, mountains, desert, rolling hill country and woods so thick that a rock just bounces back when you throw it. I grew up in the middle of a pine forest. It is one of the reasons why we are all things to all people.

DMD
That looks like overgrown brush in a swamp, not woods. While Texas does have swamps too, we probably have more woods than most states. I realize that people gain their perspective of Texas from television cowboy movies, there's more woods in Texas than deserts. I wish I had my gun Heck, we even have a Woods, Texas So you see, Texas does have woods and every other ecosystem in our wonderful state. With every geographic nuance, there's sure to be something in Texas that suits your fancy so come on down, visit for a while and then go back home. Dude, I grew up in Nebraska... I don't feel sorry for you guys. I used to tell girls I'd meet on spring break that if you get too far off the highway you could get attacked by Indians and they believed me. That only happens in Oklahoma and even then they are just trying to get you into the casino.
