ttaylor8
Was at the Cleve/St.Louis game last night, and Peyton Hillis looked like a beast. He reminded me a lot of Mike Alstott. Just curious, were Denver fans upset when that trades was made? Looks like BQ is struggling, and Hillis is one of those guys you love to have on your team. Gilm
For some reason Hillis didn't fit in McDaniels scheme as a fullback. He was a throw in on that trade. Quinn would probably be #3 on the depth chart if Tebow was practicing at full speed.

Yes, I was, but I'm glad Hillis was traded in that he is a talented man and the scheme here in Denver was preventing him from going anywhere. Maybe in Cleveland, he'll have an opportunity. Bronco Billy
Just another instance that makes McDaniels look like the freakin' moran he is, with DEN hiring on LenWhale and the Fargas as Moreno wasn't prepared for TC and Buckhalter is his usually injured self. Quinn is a deer-in-the-headlights at QB. But McDaniels just can't stand the thought of players being unhappy about sitting on the bench, especially when he has a guy like Hillis stewing while Moreno can't pickup the tough 1 yard required to score/keep a drive alive as happened last year. McDaniels has to know he's the smartest guy in the room, so he continually eliminates anything that might say otherwise. I hope Hillis puts up nice numbers for the Brownies while Quinn does his Chris Simms impersonation.

Brady Quinn was purchased to be a back up quarter back. Denver will carry 3 QB's until they feel that Tebow will either be a bust or lead this team. At that time, Orton (whom I like mind you) will either need to find another team or retire.
Gilm
Does Quinn have this season and 2 more on his rookie contract?
