Go Skins
6 pts. per passing TD, -3 for INT's, 1 pt. per 25 yds, 3pt. bonus at 300 Kolb vs. GB, Stafford vs. CHI I know Kolb is my first drafted, but he makes me nervous these days. He could really blow it as he's been stinking it up so far. I think Stafford has just as good of a chance for a nice game. Who to start? Asskickas
I have both qb's too....will start Kolb...game is at home and it should be a shotout...ps I also have D. Jackson and celek. You're not a homer are you? Yeah the Packers are healthy and I think Rodgers will force Kolb to throw. I think Kolb's confidence might be on the low side right now and that's the wrong way to start the season vs one of the better Ds in the league. I think he'll look even worse than he did in the preseason games. Woodson might have a field day tomorrow with multiple ints. Stafford has a better chance for aerial success. Start Kolb in week 2 when he plays the Lions.
0-16 Again
I have the same question in my auction league - we get a point a yard and 15 for all passing td. my concern is vick coming in and vulturing td. I currently have kolb in but might change befor the bedtime because I have to work at 6am sunday. WashingtonD
It's definitely a tough call brother, both games are at least potentially shoot outs and neither the GB nor the Bear secondary is particularly scary. I think given the weapons that Kolb has access to and the fact that GBP are very difficult to run on, makes me say start Kevin Kolb. I do think Stafford will also have a strong game, but ultimately I think Kolb has a better shot of having a stand out game. I do think both guys are going to put up good numbers this week Best of Luck, WashD
peter05403
i am going with stafford. i have the same dilemna. my theory is that detroit has a lame d and so they will need to pass to stay in the game. stafford has looked good in pre season and i think he has better weapons than Kolb. plus gb has a very good d. rumor is that chicago secondary isn't great. hezagenius
Same decision for me Pros for Stafford More experience Up against an easier defense Has looked good so far this year, Kolb has not Pros for Kolb Will need to score a lot to stay in the game Probably a better receiving core from top to bottom GB will stuff the run I think it's a coin toss. I have Kolb penciled in now but I have a nagging itch to change it. That probably means I shouldn't.
Men In Tights
I go with Kolb. The Pack offense is for real and can score points. Did someone really say the Lion-Bear game would be a shootout, can the Bears really score that much?
OCSkins
Sorry if someone has already mentioned this, but don't forget that the GB secondary is hurting. Atari Bigby is out and so is another one of their starters (I forget his name). Kolb could end up throwing it 40+ times this game. As for Chicago scoring points, remember that the mad genius Martz is the new OC in Chi-town and he loves to chuck it downfield all day long. I imagine Detroit will be playing catch-up a lot in this one and if you get -3 for INTs, well, the word on Kolb is that he's extremely accurate, Stafford, not so much.
