They don't want a dog killer to be the face of the NFL. Redemption story, comeback player, sure. MVP, I don't think so. Not in the league's best interest... Man - I didn't even think of that. NFL is going to have quite the PR nightmare on their hands then. From a pure football standpoint, I think Vick has been the most valuable player in the league thus far. That said, I wouldn't be against just giving the damn award to Peyton Manning every year - year in and year out, that team would be nothing without him.
