Ursa Majoris
MN and WI also have reciprocity for college students. Minnesota generally charges in-state tuitiion rates while Wisconsin generally doesn't. Wisconsin tuition Minnesota tuition Sent my daughter to UW-Madison because it was over $1,000 year cheaper than sending her to the U of MN even though we live in MN. And UW is a better school. Ursa Majoris
How so? No idea. I guess U MN tuition is just too high. Even though UW had a surcharge for MN students, their tuition was still a grand lower.

Way before my time-and I be old!! Edited February 19, 2011 by borge007
MikesVikes
Sent my daughter to UW-Madison because it was over $1,000 year cheaper than sending her to the U of MN even though we live in MN. And UW is a better school. My niece lived in Iowa and went to Carleton. Go figure. My youngest is going to the new U of M Rochester. The tuition isn't too bad after all the credits. UW-Madison seems like a nice school. My daughter lived in Madison for awhile and worked with some students there. I know a few kids that are going there.
