Furd
Maybe it is just me but it seems that giving up 5 picks, including 2 firsts and a second, for a guy who is going to play second fiddle to Roddy White is a bit much. Maybe Jones turns out to be a super stud and the trade will work out but if he winds up being an above average #2 WR then it was a bad deal. Well, you need 2 stud WRs to win championships. Just go back 20 years and you'll see that the Super Bowl champs and runners-up are just loaded at the position. Don't bother.
millerx
First point: The falcons D gave up the 5th fewest points in the NFL last year. Second point: The Falcons gave up four picks not 5, IIRC, it was the 1st, 2nd, 4th round of this year and the 1st and 4th of next year. But really they only swapped first rounders this year, so they still had a 1st this year. They STILL had a 1st round this year. Third Point: It sounds like everyone only remembers the last game they played, where the did get blown out last year, but at that time the Packers were on a role and were blowing out anyone they faced. Sounds like selective memory to me. The Falcons definitely need some upgrades, but it's not all THAT BAD.
