Swampnuts
Went out in the garage and the buttons on my wall unit were dark and the opener wouldn't work. Remotes wouldn't activate the opener either. I've got power to the unit because the breaker didn't trip and the sensor light on the opener itself will blink. Any ideas? Lady.hawke
Never mind....figured it out Was it one of those curly light bulbs? We recently installed a new garage door opener in my mother's house. The remotes had almost no power. After a bit of research, it was discovered that the curly light bulb was the culprit. They apparently have their own energy field. We installed a normal light bulb and everything worked perfectly.
