matt770
You can have your fosters, your blue prince...the steeds holly is a hell of a bush too, but for my money Nellie is the gold standard. Grow her in a Christmas tree shape or in a hedge row, she's as versatile as the Depression-era whore that bears her name. Just don't get any ideas because those leaves are sharp! Just ordered 20 for $59 including shipping!
Chief Dick
Hey thanks. I was just looking for something like this for the back area of my yard. Just ordered 20 myself.

matt770
Good luck planting them That was so 4 days ago. Oh how my landscape plan has changed since then. Tomorrow is chainsaw day...going to clear out about 30 trash specimens -- old overgrown privets, wild cherries, oaks, sassafras, dogwoods growing cockeyed -- making room for all new stuff in the back yard. Finally figured out where the vegetable garden is going too. The hollies are going around the perimeter for privacy and then I ordered a bunch of other stuff from the Arbor Day foundation too. I've always had good luck buying this kind of stuff online, even though they are small, the trees establish and grow quickly and you can't beat the prices. Then you just supplement with larger specimens bought locally. Man I love this time of year.
