giantsfan
Lol the ONE and only time the Lions went downfield on a pass was on 3rd and 1. Explain that. Yeah, on a play where Calvin had a mile cushion and they should have just gone for a 1st to keep the drive moving.
piratesownninjas
I just disagree. YES Pettigrew should have been more aggressive to that ball, I agree there, but Stafford stared down Pettigrew the second the ball was snapped. Woodson jumped it ASAP. Poor decision. The ball was in Pettigrew's hands. He had the ball. Woodson just came in and took it away. How is that on Stafford?
giantsfan
Staff has 9 ints the past 2 3/4 games. He had 4 ints in the first 8 games. The finger has to be an issue. Or maybe just very poor decisions. Something is up the past 3 weeks. And it shows how bad Carolina's D really is.
gbpackersfan
God, at this point Im just hoping for Calvin to reach 50yds. How sad is that...
giantsfan
The ball was in Pettigrew's hands. He had the ball. Woodson just came in and took it away. How is that on Stafford? Again, the second the ball was snapped he stared down Pettigrew. Woodson jumped it. IF Pettigrew held on it would have still been a VERY dangerous pass by Stafford. Point is, it was a hgh risk pass by Stafford given the D and him staring down Pettigrew from the snap. nelsosi
24-0 and they call back-to-back draw plays and another pass to the rb. Yeah I don't understand either. They look afraid to go downfield.

IF Pettigrew held on it would have still been a VERY dangerous pass by Stafford. Again, if Pettigrew catches the ball with his hands it's a reception. Regardless if he stared down Pettigrew, the ball was there, and Pettigrew should have caught it. Separate that play from the others.
gbpackersfan
Yeah I don't understand either. They look afraid to go downfield. They havent even tried. Ive been yelling at my tv all morning. Staffords hand must be messed up, cause they arent even attempting passes over 5yds.

It was a low % play and a very bad decision to stare down his receiver that long before the pass.

gbpackersfan
How is this offense even moving the ball? Shouldnt the Packers expect nothing but runs and 5yd passes by now?
crazysob
That's what I was thinking, fantasy should never make you root against your so called team!!

Im a Packers fan first, but seeing as this game isnt/wasnt ever in doubt, can I not root for my ff players?

ts
And DET goes for / makes the 2-point conversion, as Jason Hanson owners all over the FF world hurl themselves into snake-filled pits.

giantsfan
I think you can root for your fantasy players and your team as well no? If Calvin gets a TD does that mean GB loses? I can see saying I want a Calvin TD but still clearly am rooting for GB. It isn't like a big Calvin game means an L for GB. I am sure if it was a tight game late he wouldn't root for a Calvin TD. gbpackersfan
Well... This. Yeah your right. But seeing as: A) The Packers are 10-0 and are all but pretty much guaranteed a playoff bye already and B ) I desperately need a win in my FF league Im kinda putting my FF team ahead of the Packers for right now. *I know, I know, BLASPHEMY* Edited November 24, 2011 by gbpackersfan
