"Dealing in reality" because what needs to be done is too hard or inconvenient is exactly why this country/world is totally effed up right now. ETA: By the way, I'm not saying that we should abandon recycling projects and/or other things you mention. Rather, that only solves some of the problem. And, as far as single stream recycling, much of that just ends up in the landfills anyway. It just makes people feel better about themselves. Dim the lights honey....Oh Wait......stupid government getting involved in nonsense again....Who would have thought. The reality is the market will decide. Build a better product and it will replace the old one. Do we really need a bunch of idiots with an agenda to force this change? For the Liberals in the house, the answer is NO. While I am a staunch conservative, more of the George Will type, my reason for joining was fantasy football, a game I have been playing for 28 years.
