tazinib1
Wow if this is true, its great news for Luck fans. He's a heavy pass caller.....Even if Peyton stays, the Colts offense keeps the pace prior 2011. So many variables in Indy....makes my head ache. CaptainHook
I wondered about that when he was fired/retired from the Steelers. I guess we'll find out how "retired" he is. Although the Colts offensive coordinator, Clyde Christensen, has seemed to survive the Colts' coaching purge so far.
tazinib1
Colts hired Bruce Arians as offensive coordinator. So much for Arians' "retirement." Forced out in Pittsburgh thanks in part to his pass-first tendencies, Arians has landed in a place where running the ball has been little more than a suggestion for much of the past half-decade. One of the league's most aggressive play-callers during his five seasons with the Steelers, Arians' hiring is excellent news for presumptive No. 1 overall pick Stanford QB Andrew Luck, and could be a sign the Colts don't plan to leave the training wheels on their new quarterback for long. Still having a legit run game would be a nice change of pace and all the more needed if Manning leaves and Luck is in.
tonyr0802
Have to say, I'm loving the coaching signings thus far.
cdrudge
Try a decade and a half-ish.James led the league in attempts his rookie year, and yards his first two years. When he left in 05, he was still a top 5 back if not better. I'm not sure how you would consider that time period when he played little more than a suggestion of a running game. BeeR
You're right. Roughly a decade would be more accurate. ish.
Shorttynaz
Have to say, I'm loving the coaching signings thus far. +1 Now if only they can figure out a way to circumvent the $28M they owe Manning and keep him on the roster...
