darkside
I am a commissioner in an NFL.com league and we have not drafted yet. Some of the team owners no longer wish to play anymore and there are other people that want to join. In years past, the draft order was determined by previous years final standings. With the removal and addition of teams, what would be your suggestion on a draft order? Should I keep the returning teams in their normal order and add the new teams to the end... or beginning? We do an online snake draft if that makes a difference. Thanks for your suggestions. Edited August 2, 2014 by darkside
flemingd
If you're not a keeper or dynasty league there is no reason not to do random selection. If you are, then the team they inherit should be strong/weak enough to justify the draft position.
Zooty
If it's a redraft then it should be random
Dolphin_Akie
We do reverse standings from the year before and any newbies join on at the end.

BA Baracus
You could assign each new team as replacing an old one and they just inherit the old team's slot.
loaf
it's really up to you but both scenarios I've experienced have been listed. Just slot them in as if they were returning and keep same draft order or Tack them in at the end. Now it sounds like you have more than 1 team getting replaced so you would have to determine who gets the higher pick out of those newbies. HutOne
Keep the teams returning in their draft spots and have the new teams pick the numbers for the remaining spots to determine their drafting spots.
