This can not be a good sign for Blounts prospects this season. If Bellichick had Blount pegged as his opening day starter he would not have Blount out there right now risking injury. faceplant Posted September 4, 2015 Share Posted September 4, 2015 I don't think Blount has trouble earning a spot. He's got a pretty good track record with BB and there is no news of him being injured or slowed down that I'm aware of. He is suspended, so BB may just be focusing on Week 1. My bet would be that Blount starts some, if not most of the games by the time the season is over.
