Bigman56
What happened with Cooks today's? Snead, Watson, and Colston got the bulk of the targets, did cook even play in the second half. Which WR will be the best play vs. Detroit next week?
1fastdoc
lol. Good luck with that. I got rid of Cooks to avoid having to make difficult decisions.
gilthorp
Not sure Cooks can be trusted....don't know why I played him after the concussion news this week. If I'm lucky enough to move on, it will be without him.
michaelredd9
Cooks is the 14th highest scoring wide receiver this year in PPR. That's pretty darn good for a second year receiver. The only discouraging thing is that New Orleans has been playing from behind so much that you'd think he'd have inflated stats from garbage time. One explanation why he isn't a stud this year is that both Cooks and Brees are short. Them both being short makes it difficult for Brees to see Cooks downfield over offensive linemen. They've previously always drafted tall receivers for Brees. Here are the heights of the wide receivers drafted during the Drew Brees era in New Orleans: Brandin Cooks 5'10" Kenny Stills 6'0" Nick Toon 6'3" Adrian Arrington 6'3" Robert Meachem 6'2" Mike Haas 6'1" Marques Colston 6'4"
Coolhandsean
Cooks was a major disappointment!! I was counting on him this week in two leagues.
rajncajn
I don't think it had anything to do with his concussion. When the offense is clicking the ball gets spread around. Cooks played very well in the 1st half so Tampa probably paid him a little more attention in the 2nd half.
loaf
but how tall is Snead?
michaelredd9
but how tall is Snead? Snead isn't elite either. And certain routes aren't going to be affected as much as other routes. Cooks is a speed guy who is supposed to be a deep threat. He hasn't been much of a deep threat.
