stevegrab
Just another person with misdirected anger. Goodell is a good target for those who don't or won't direct their issues to the parties they should. (Blame the NFL owners who hire and pay these guys, every one protesting should be fired or worse (according to some who feel very strongly). All this from somebody who says they follow the NFL but apparently isn't too familiar with the rules and guidelines. He wants Goodell to punish the players for sitting or kneeling during the national anthem? (Can Goodell do that? Is sitting for the national anthem covered under something, even the broad "conduct detrimental to the league"?) The more we talk about this the longer it stays in the public eye. Ignore all the "protesting" and it will be gone in a couple weeks. Or watch South Park Member Berries episode and laugh at the absurdity of all this. PS I know since I'm not just waving the flag and saying "right on" I'll probably be labeled something bad. I respect the flag, the anthem and those who serve. LosGatosEnFuegos
Words used in this letter to describe nonviolent protestors: despicable, idiot, scum, disgusting, rabble, pretty boys, worms. I respect the sacrifice of this man and the men and women who served alongside him. He, however, does not appear to respect anyone who hasn't served.
