michaelredd9
Few sub-6'2" quarterbacks have succeeded in the NFL. Not many are even given the chance to play in the NFL. But Drew Brees and Russell Wilson have been as good as any quarterback in the league. So a short quarterback doesn't have a low ceiling (no pun intended). Baker has arm skill and seems to have the personality of a person determined to win. Is he the next Drew Brees?
blaw23
Not even close. I think he is close to the next Johnny Manziel than Drew Brees.
darin3
He is neither Drew Brees nor Russell Wilson ... nor is he Johnny Manziel for that matter. Not sure why we always have to do the comparison thing. He is actually quite unique. The height thing could be an issue but he does check a lot of other boxes in the positive manner. It'll be interesting to see where he lands.
stevegrab
Dorsey loves Mayfield, but that lack of height is an issue. If he had 2-3 inches more, he'd be #1. His passion for the game is exciting, his work ethic and proof so far that he can excel are clear. As far as being a whiny guy if he don't start, well every QB prospect has been told by the Browns to forget starting in 2018, and then they gauged the player reaction. Hard to say how big a factor that reaction is for the Browns, but they've been clear and upfront, the players need to listen and be reasonable or they're setting themselves up for a tough road.
