Chris Carson on the WW

There are 6 teams in my 10-team PPR league that really only have 1 solid to questionable starting RB.  For whatever reason this year, people wanted to go WR and TE heavy up front.  Last week Chris Carson was dropped.  I am looking to make a play for him to corner the market from these RB starved teams, but I don't know how much to bid without just wasting money...   I have $650 out of $750 left.  I was honestly contemplating putting in a claim of $200 for Carson in case the others teams don't think I would go after him with the RB's I already have.  I'm not sure $200 will get him as there are some real headscratchers out there.  Two weeks ago Gio Bernard went for $255 and not even to the Mixon owner.  Last week Buck Allen went for $225 and Corey Clement went for $185.

$200 for Carson a waste of money or a smart idea?

My Team:

1QB:  D Watson;  P Rivers

2-3RB:  M Gordon;  L Fournette;  J Howard;  A Ekeler

3-4WR:  B Cooks;  W Fuller;  N Agholor;  T Lockett;  J Gordon;  C Davis

1-2TE:  J Graham;  OJ Howard

1PK:  B McManus

1DEF:  Houston

If you get him, do you plan to trade him?  If you know you can trade him and get something good, $200 is well worth it.

I may not trade Carson, but I may trade one of my 3 workhorses at that point - I'd still have 2 solid starting RB's with Carson a spot starter.
