rajncajn
Sounded great when they started it, but the NFL and referees are killing it. The league is notoriously bad about equitable fines/penalties and I think Green Bay getting off with a slap on the wrist for Rodgers was the final straw for Payton. Last year it was the same for a few teams while the Saints were docked a draft pick. I don't think the Bears/Steelers ref situation helped either. Wasn't it last year also that the refs essentially killed the PI & non-call review?
stevegrab
The only thing the NFL has done recently and gotten right is allowing the replay booth to overturn some things quickly before a challenge can even be made, like some of those cases where it wasn't really a catch, or clearly a incomplete pass not a fumble. Some of the taunting stuff has just been horrible and the lack of equity on things like roughing the passer, with it called whenever guys like Brady are touched but a rookie or 3rd string backup (Fields took 3 hits in a row on one series, each could have been called, at least one of 3 was a no brainer).
