Division alignment will change from year-to-year based on the record during the previous season.
Division A: Champion, bottom overall seed wild card loser, 7th best record, 12th
Division B: Runner-up, top overall seed wild card loser, 8th, 11th
Division C: 3rd place game winner, 3rd place game loser, 9th, 10th

I stole this from AFL rules (the league that ours is built off the back of) as a template for how to slot teams.

If we selected this route, the divisions will be:

Beavis division: Beirut, Cocks, Reform, Fireflies

Butthead division: Dragline, Puppers, Postals, Footlongs

Cornholio division: Sack Pack, Longhorns, 4 Star, Blue Crabs.

As we have already voted in favor of change, going with straight majority here. As well, please indicate that you have voted.

5.5 Playoffs
The AFL-Devy = League play-offs begin on week fourteen week fifteen of the NFL season. The play-offs conclude on week sixteen week seventeen with the Super Bowl and Toilet Bowl. Playoff timing changed as of the 2021 season to accommodate the NFL schedule change to 17 games and bye week running into week 14.

5.5.1 Seeding
Six teams advance to the post-season. Each division winner and the three best winning percentages that are not division winners regardless of division. Seeds #1 , #2 and #3 are ranked among the division winners, similar to the NFL. Wildcard seeds #4, #5 and #6 are ranked amongst non-division winner teams that qualify for the playoffs.

[Mar 2022 rule change to three divisions]

Seeding tiebreakers will be:

A. Head-to-head record - including group head to head winning percentage if more than two teams.
B. Total overall points
C. Conference record
D. All play record
E. Dice roll

5.5.2 Schedule
Week 15 - Wildcard Games: seed 1 and 2 receives a bye, seed 3 vs. seed 6 and seed 4 vs. seed 5.
Week 16 - Semi-Finals: seed 1 vs. lowest surviving seed. Remaining two teams in the other semifinal.
Week 17 - Super Bowl: week 16 winners and Consolation: week 16 losers

Any issues with the rulebook edits I will be making?
