Jackass
Maybe this topic has been brought up, but does anyone have any opinions on how this should be scored. Defense intercepted, then fumbled recovered by same team and run in for a TD. Is this a defensive TD? Thanks.
justin
yes the fumble did not end the play - so it is still the defense that scored.

Ursa Majoris
Agreed, possession did not change so it's a BAL DEF TD
Jackass
This actually doesn't involve my league as the point differential wouldn't make a difference, but my buddy here says that his Yahoo site is claming it's not a defensive TD. That once the ball is fumbled it's a live ball, and baltimore becomes the offense and cincy the defense. maybe questionable logic but... I just checked my Yahoo leagues and they are not crediting Baltimore defense with the TD. How that is not a defensive TD is beyond me.
