Grits and Shins
... I never draft a defense early, inspired by this thread. Buffalo is currently the 2nd overall defense in my league. I was able to scoop them up off the waiver wire in week 5 ... since week 5 they have never failed to score less than 11 points and have 5 weeks over 20 points. Here was how defenses were drafted in our league with draft position in red, overall in parenthesis) and current rank in green 6.11 (71) BAL 1 7.12 (84) CAR 17 8.03 (87) KCC 31 8.04 (88) NEP 4 8.05 (89) PHI 7 8.06 (90) MIA 26 8.08 (92) TBB 9 8.09 (93) STL 28 13.01 (145) SEA 12 13.03 (147) TEN 24 13.05 (149) GBP 20 13.06 (150) DAL 30 13.11 (155) NYJ 10 14.01 (157) MIN 22 14.02 (158) PIT 3 14.04 (160) DEN 15 15.04 (172) BUF 2 15.08 (176) NOS 27 15.10 (178) SFO 29 Obviously I wasn't able to pick up Buffalo until they were cut by somebody else ... but that's how it is with defenses. Big John
Even at draft time, who would draft the Cheifs over the Patriots?

It is ST/DF combined ... but it certainly raised all eye brows in the room except for one pair.
