Packers: Davenport inactiveThe News Running back Najeh Davenport is inactive this week because of injuries to his shoulder, ribs, and hamstring. Tony Fisher will serve as Ahman Green's backup against the Bears. Our View The Packers have said they want to play their starters today in order to get ready for the playoffs, but they will give Green a rest every chance they get so Fisher should see an up-tick in carries this week. Head coach Tom Coughlin said Shockey has been playing with a sore back for the past month and noted it is more than soreness. He noted he is not holding Shockey out of the game simply because it is meaningless. Shockey has yet to play an entire 16-games in any of his first three seasons in the NFL.
