Shotgun Messiahs
Bottom Right Side It's an interesting poll! All the accomplishments and no glory at the end!
BS Miscreant
Man, I'm a bit surprised by the number who voted yes. I voted no. You can certainly argue, as a competitor, that not winning it all makes individual records a bit less meaningful but I would hardly say a lack of one accomplishment "tarnishes" another. twiley
I'd like to hear someones reasoning why it is tarnished. I can't seem to come up with one. Can someone call UT's mom and have her wake him up so we can read his opinion on this matter?
Shotgun Messiahs
I bet Manning would trade his accomplishments for a ring!
Grits and Shins
52.8% to 47.1% I'd say the bitch slapping administered by NE and the failure to win the SB this year certainly "bruises" the accomplishment, to borrow a phrase from one of the guys on ESPN radio. The bruise is a bit painful now but will fade with time. It was a great accomplishment but he would have crowned the accomplishment with a SB ring. Or is anybody arguing that it would not have been the best season all time for any QB had he managed to go on to win the SB. And if that's true doesn't the fact that he didn't even go to the SB take a little bit away from what could have been?
WaterMan
I bet Manning would trade his accomplishments for a ring! 659177[/snapback] I don't know. I think he likes being hyped up every year.
