MikesVikes
Super Bowl: New England's Vinatieri more than top kicker Kevin Seifert, Star Tribune February 2, 2005 SUPE0202 JACKSONVILLE, FLA. -- Adam Vinatieri graduated to full varsity status Tuesday afternoon during an informal ceremony atop a podium at ALLTEL Stadium. As Vinatieri wrapped up an hour's worth of questions during Super Bowl XXXIX media day, a young man approached him with $5 in his hand. "ADAM! ADAM!" the guy yelled. "Adam! I had you on my fantasy league team this year and you were AWESOME! You helped me win all season! So I swore to myself if I ever saw you I'd give you a share of the winnings!" Vinatieri graciously accepted his cut, and history was made: For the first time ever, a placekicker received his proper due. Is there anything wrong with an NFL player accepting cash for helping some guy win his league?

skylive5
Is there anything wrong with an NFL player accepting cash for helping some guy win his league? 681642[/snapback] I can see it now..... tomorrow Vinitari gets suspended by the NFL immediately for accepting gambling money and won't play in the SB. Anyways.... I would assume that he couldn't give the money to some NFL charity fast enough. I am sure he didn't keep it. Edit: Oh, and to answer the question... my guess is loaf too. Vinatieri Is God
Too funny!! Unfortunately, I am still in sunny Southern NH, where the temperature climbed barely above the freezing point yesterday.
msaint
I heard the guy was also pantsless, drooling and predicting that the Pats will beat the Eagles 188-2. It had to be the Tuna.
