Whiskey Pimp
Or will they look into it after this week?
DMD
They have made no progress to replacing Crennel or Weis yet, I think they have been busy. The fascinating thing is that both the coordinators have been there the entire four past years of such success. They are obviously well coached so it will be fascinating to see where it goes. I would expect at least one of them will merely be replaced by someone promoted.
bigrocks
I am certain whoever it is will be the absolute best coaches ever.... according to UT and other Pasty homers.
Fatman
Don't have a link because I can't remember where I read it, but the report I saw said that the hirings would be from inside the organization. Czarina
I believe Eric Mangini has the inside track on one of those jobs. Charlie Weis had said he wasn't going to be trying to take anyone with him to ND, but we'll see. Crennel has not officially been offered the Cleveland job yet. (yeah, I know it's just a formality). I did read a rumor that Pepper Johnson may go with him. I think he's been working as the linebackers coach this year. There's been little to no talk about this though. The team has been a little preoccupied for the last few weeks. I imagine they'll get right on it Monday though.
