Patsfan04
Stay with a great team or go to a horrible team... 692254[/snapback] It is interesting, and the decision might be out today, if not tomorrow. Mangini's wife is Mark Shapiro's brother, the GM of the Indians, so he has family there, and the parks are both downtown. Cleveland is no doubt offering him more money. If he goes to Cleveland and Crennel turns things around, then he will be given more credit then he would in NE, given the fact that there is no place to go but down. Belichick doesn't let assistants have press conferences, so that could factor in as well. (Factor meaning where would he have more "public" exposure which would help him get a HC job) That is one of the reasons given when discussing why it took the Crennel and Weis HC jobs. Fantasy Jesus
According to ESPN, two league sources indicated that Mangini will probably not be staying with New England. It looks like Miami is offering the most money, but Cleveland got the family ties.
